Behind the Scenes

Some of our photo shoot locations are so pretty that we like to take pictures of the settings just as they are, before we put our quilts in the scenes!

What is short-arm quilting? It is quilting with a domestic sewing machine that is mounted on a quilting frame system. The machine is called "short arm" because of the small actual sewing or quilting space in the harp of the machine.

We asked longarm quilter and author Debby Brown how she decides the best quilting design for each quilt. These are her tips for borders that will "take your quilts from simple to stunning."
